View Full Version : 1. FC Nürnberg: Everton FC 08.11.07 [R]

Nürnberg have been really struggling this year, just about in the relegation zone, dumped out of the DfB Pokal, which they won last year and having massive injury problems. Hopefully, Everton can win here, as they are the weakest team left to play, so that we can get through this group more easily.

Well are these 'massive' injury problems going to last until next week?
I think this is winnable, then again I said the same thing about the Luton game. As long as Arteta's back by then I say it's another 3 points.

it's not like 400-600 tickets is that many... it's a damned shame the blues weren't given more tickets than that... in a several thousand seater stadium (which i'm just guessing these teams have) what's 1k tickets to travelling fans?
oh well... not like i could go in any case lol

Hey, Everton received about 4,000 tickets (as far as I know)!
Nevertheless, I understand that it's very frustrating for those who have already booked the flight & hotel and don't get a ticket now.

This game makes me sad that I'm not still in Europe. You can bet I would have been at this one and AZ.

Actually Everton had the chance for that, but declined the extra 2000  Another brilliant move by Everton.

Alot of talk suggesting Nurnberg have cancelled tickets in the home stands that were purchased by Brits.
Thousands of Evertonians were expected to be in their stands.

Knowing my luck, the game's not on TV, but man that would be a great Thursday.
Watch Everton in the afternoon and head to Gillette to see the Revs Thursday night.

If I had read the TV thread, I would have seen that it's on Setanta. Looks like I'll be at The Globe for this one.

Take the flight to Nuremberg ... and I'll sell you my ticket. ;)
What about TOLH? No chance to have a drink with you? :-)
Btw: Will Arteta get fit for the game?

Arteta will be fit, and he will play, and he will crush whoever plays LB, because Pinola is injured :)

god I never make predictions. i'm so bad at it, but hell i'll leave this one up for the hell of it :)

I wish! As it stands, I will be at The Globe watching on TV. At least I get that...
As for Arteta, I haven't heard anything.

Just heard on Fox Soccer Report that the reason for taking away 1,500 tickets is that Nurnberg has mistakenly sold tickets directly to our supporters, which would have put them in the middle of the home fans. UEFA pulled the plug on that one.
