To some of the people saying Quaresma rejected us and will not come to us. What was Ribery's answer when we wanted him at first? "Fuk no, I'm going to Real Madrid"... The weird thing is though, I think this Ribery chap plays for Bayern.. Why, this is very weird, why would he say NO and we still got him? According to some of you, this shouldn't happen..
Inter have the best chance to get him, after him it's: Bayern, Real, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Well, Equilib, we have been through this round about Quaresma a year or two back already on these boards. I didn't expect you to know that as you are relatively new; however, back then he said he was not interested in Bayern or Germany for that matter. Now.... who knows.
I just personally don't see Spanish Primera League, warm-climate style players 'longing' to play in a more tactical, rough tackling, cold climate game as is in the Bundesliga. The only ones who seem to are players who understand and somewhat grew up in the Central or Eastern European nations, such as Mark Von Bommel.

Drogba was born in Africa where it's incredibly hot, yet we can get him if we wanted to. :p If he's impressed by us (the new amazing Bayern that got Drogba very interested) and we show enough interest as we did before, we will get him. If not, than we will unfortunately miss on one of the best opportunities to sign an absolute class player.

Actually, we were interested in him way before some of the spanish teams were but again, he rejected us. Same story with Tevez. Most latin players simply don't want to come to the Bundesliga. It's too much of a culture shock to them and they'd rather be around their fellow countrymen.
And Equilibrium, I don't remember any exact quotes from Ribery ruling Bayern out completely. Quaresma on the other hand has done just that.

quaresma said that in the beginning of the summer, but i think the last few months have done a lot in restoring Bayern's international reputation with the high scoring and absolutely dominant side that the club has put out there
that and a fat paycheck....it'd be interesting to see what he thinks now

Most spanish players don't watch bundesliga highlights on regular basis, so we will have to play a couple uefa knockout games with our new style, otherwise they won't know about it ;)

Actually, those statements were from his dumbass agent who obviously didn't know jack sh!t. But as for Quaresma, I dont want too many focking Spaniards on my team. and Drogba: Fock Drogba!

To sum up today's "kicker" story:
Hitzfeld wants to keep Ottl. "He has a bright future ahead of him and can fill in at a variety of positions. He's just as good as van Bommel."
A new CB and a DM are first priority. They're looking for a "super 6" in England and Italy.

I know, and I got really excited back then. Too bad he didn't join us. By now coming to Germany shouldn't be a shock any more though. Can you imagine? Klose and Aguero...:D

what i don't understand about that is that if we keep ottl and bayern get a DM we would have 5 CM: ottl, zé, van bommel, kroos + DM. somebody should leave.

In a couple of years these two will be retiring.

one word: Bullshit
the british tabloids opened this pure speculation and now others copy it without thinking.
It probably is still unknown to many people that Sagnols partner in life is a Bayern employee, therefore his ties to Munich are stronger than just a contract. Additionally Bayern isn't known for selling players that suffer from injuries, therefore Sagnol will make his comeback in Munich during the second half of the season. Even tactical reasons speak against it, Bayern needs fullbacks with good to very good offensive capabilities, given the current performances of the three remaining fullbacks only Lahm can fill this need. Looking at our two deadly strikers Sagnols pinpoint crosses can really become a dangerous weapon again as they were once under Ballack.

Don't forget that we are getting Gorlitz back next season. That means we will have 4 players whose natural position is RB. Someone is going to have to go. I don't think there is any chance that it will be Sagnol, unless he doesn't return to his former self from this injury.

As good a season as Goerlitz is having, I have a feeling that they'll make the loan permanent and just sell him outright, especially given Lell's progress this year.
No way Sagnol is leaving, people forget just how important he is to the team. AND he is vice-captain!
