I find that I prefer the Central Bar to Nevadas and plan to watch there on Saturday (I love egg sandwiches and a comfy seat with my "cold barley soup"). For those who also hit up the Central, how early do you think one should get there on Saturday given how big the fixture is and the fact that it's a Setanta match?
Will there be lines out the door like Nevadas?
Thanks!

No idea. Most people I know go to Central if Nevadas gets too packed. I'm going to Nevadas and will be there by 8am. Si I wouldn't think it would be too much later than that at Central.

I agree. Central never really gets too packed so I think you should be ok at 8am or so.

8:45 b/c we won't put our clocks back until Saturday night.
Central is on 9th between 3rd and 4th. It's maybe a 2 minute walk from Nevada's.
Nevada's is definitely the premier place but I tend to prefer the Central because:
- I can usually get seat
- They serve food
- I'm only 5'7 and don't have to stand on my toes if it's packed
Don't expect any singing or chanting though, even though it's sometimes a pleasant bonus pending on how late of a night you're coming off of.

thanks for the info......So do they serve beer at 8am and how pack would Nevadas get for such an early game?

For a big game like this that is not on FSC (this also plays a big part in things) should be packed to the gills. I would be surprised if it isn't.

Nevada's will be overflowing.
Central does serve beer since it's a saturday. I think Nevada's is the only place to grab a brew for a sunday morning game. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I have seen blatantly underage (12-13 years old, etc) in the bar multiple times, but I think they had an adult accompany them.

Central Bar should accommodate you provided you're not sitting at the bar and you order some food.
