Easy win. No matter who he runs out it should be an easy win.

Mikel in a more attacking role? I'm interested in seeing that because I think as he's proven time and time again he's not a true DM like Maka, and maybe seeing him get a few shots in and less tackling might be nice.

wouldnt mind seeing Sheva given a run out as a goal or two may continue to improve his confidence

Yea, I'd like to see him get a chance to play a bit of the Lamp role against lesser competition. For Nigeria I've seen him play an attacking and box to box role very well, he can be very clever with passes into the box, and like Lamp he is good at finding space to provide an outlet for the team to maintain possession.

Grant said that he thinks Mikel is very talented for his age and can play at any of the MF roles so probably good for his development to play at different roles in the Cups. In the League, Lamp and Essein are always going to and should be untouchables but Mak has stated he wants rest and was promised rest when he re-uped so that is the role Obi most likely to get time though long term I see him as an attacking box to box player myself.

would be nice to see him getting foward, and we have seen him shot quite well from distance. I also believe he is relatively useful in the air and on set pieces.

I'd really like to see how Pizzarro fares in a 4-3-3 ahead of the ANC but I would also like to see Sheva get a half as well as we need to find out if he can regain some old magic and help in the ANC or find out if we need to go Christmas striker shopping.

I would say pair them together but then I could play central defence for Leicester and catch them both. Perhaps they could play together in a 442 with Sinclair and SWP on the wings for pace.

Certainly got the height and physicallity (is that a word:confused:); for the u-21s he took all the corners and all the freekicks, except for the long range Alex like blasts from Taiwo, and was really adept at it.

for such a big lad, he does have excellent balance and composure on the ball.

I really hope this lad can keep it together, because he has a bright future.

I do think Sheva needs to play in a 4-2-2 if we have a chance of seeing a bit of the old Sheva but am curious as to whether Pizzarro can fit into our preferred 4-3-3 so a half of each unless we need to bring in Drogs to save the day, can't get too cocky about these Cup matches, though they look to be a side in turmoil

oh I definately think Drogs and Lamps should be on the bench just in case things are not working as well as planned

Hopefully January brings a reason or two not to need to see that. ;)

I have to learn to read my own posts:rolleyes: as I posted a day or two ago Bridge is suspended for the last of his three tomorrow so I guess we will see Paulo on the left again

Grant said yesterday that he wants to see the young nes get more playing time, but they have to be up to the required standard so I would think that Sinclair will get his chance tonight.
