This article says that there will be 3 signings this week: Wagner Love, MBia (for 6M) and Moutinho (for 16M or more), and that we could end up spending close to 40M total. Oh, and don't forget Alan Smith. Woo-hoo!

That almost certainly means we're super close to signing him. Every time they "dismiss" something in the papers, it turns out to be true.

Even if Everton can persuade Tiago to rejoin the Premier League, however, a deal is unlikely to be completed in time for the opening game on Saturday when David Moyes will be left with just 10 senior players to select from and a clutch of youngsters.

I am asking that same thing. This transfer window has gone completely opposite of what I expected. It's going to be a rough start because even if we can get a player or two, they arent going to get to train with the team before Saturday.

I must say I am very shocked. NO transfers in. For a 5th place club who did well in the Eufa Cup, I cannot believe they could not sign anyone yet.

Even the 3 promoted clubs have brought in 4-6 players each. I know they are not of the calibre that you guys would want, but still, I would not have thought it would have been so hard to find some quality players.

You guys added Portuguese international Tiago today, correct? I read it was a 1 year loan with an option to buy which is 11 mil. I guess that ends the Joao Mounthino rumors.
