No Adu or Altidore?
So altidore is playing in which league...the MLS is of less standard than the Dutch league and thats saying something where a mid range team beats a bottom team 9-0. Thats like blackburn/everton beating bolton/derby 9-0 which will not happen.
Adu cant get a game for benfica in a league where is small stature is no disadvantage...imagine if he moved to a top flight league...hed be crushed. He is also too flashy...he needs to learn of someone, who although i hate i do admire in C.Ronaldo who has reduced the amount of tricks he does and uses them as more of a surprise. Even robinho has started to reduce the number of useless tricks he does per game...although he does have moments when he gets overexcited. If you watch the second half of the CL game between R.Madrid and Olympiacos and watch Robinho...that is the way Adu should play. He should only use his tricks when he is close to the box or in the box as thats when defenders get nervous and worry about giving away a penalty...if you watch robinho start doing tricks at the half way line an opponent usually crunches him which is what he deserved. Otherwise adu is a decent prospect

If you want to include a Dutch goalkeeper, Vitesse player Pietje Velthuizen is regarded by the Dutch as a massive talent, bigger than Tim Krul. But as the former doesn't play in any of the top three big leagues, I guess that makes him irrelevant for these threads.

He is 22 and was born in 1985...if he was eligable then hed be one of the first in the lineup...very good talent

Where is Benzema...hes become the new RVN this season...he cant stop scoring. I think he has 14 goals this season from 16 appearances...great talent. And what about Samir Nasri...he is a great young playmaker and surely deserves a spot over Vidal and Djourou should get a start ahead of Pique...as he already started in about 20 EPL games last season and is Arsenals 3rd best CB (Senderos is very average and clumsy)

Drenthe over Mikel?
I wanted a better defensively sound midfielder. Plus the latter is a traitorous ********. Although in all honestly there were a lot of good players for the same position but Drenthe was the best fit in that system because he can slide over to cover for Bale (who is better going forward) and also help to provide the required width that is missing from that flank.

Leaving Benzema out was tough but Agüero has simply done more in his career thus far and is performing in a better league. Nasri is good but I am already stocked in terms of offense in that side and Fabregas is doing the playmaking. I do not rate Djourou and Pique was a great last season in La Liga. He also complements Richards.

Yes
Yes Altidore is in the MLS and Adu is not playing much (But has scored 2 important game winners) but both did superb in the U20 WC. Adu was probably the most dominate player while Altidore showed that he is a big up and comer. Altidore will probably be sold to Europe this Jan or next summer.
They should at least be mentioned

Where in the U-20? You obviously didn't watch much of Ever Banega did you? Imo he was Argentina's best player in the whole tournament.
