This match is already under way. PSG is fielding a very young side, and the captain, Sakho, is the youngest in European history according to Setanta.

Belhadj is having a particularly good match. Benzema took a knock to his ankle and is still limping. He should be subbed out.

Lyon lineup:

Vercoutre
Clerc - Squillaci - Anderson - Belhadj
Bodmer - Fabio Santos - Juninho
Govou - Benzema - Ben Arfa

PSG lineup:

Landreau
Ceara - Sakho - Yepes - Camara
Ngoyi - Clement- Sankhare
Diane - Arnaud - Rothen

Ben Arfa with a brace in the first half!

Benzema also had two really good shots, both barely saved by Landreau.

HT: PSG 0 - 2 Lyon

Very good performance from the guys today. Ben Arfa with the brace. His first goal was perfection. I'm glad they showed that ridiculous look on Perrin's face after it. He was probably thinking to himself, 'I wonder why I've been leaving this guy on the bench so much'. If Darrent bent went for 16 million £, Benzema is worth 30.

You mean Ben Arfa, right? Because Benzema is definitely worth more than £20million. I would say at least like £40million. No joke.

I meant to say 30 lol, but I don't know about 40 that's quite a price tag for 19 year old.

Oh shit. Anderson got a red card, so now Lyon are down to ten man.

Anderson had a messy tackle on a PSG player, but he was the last defender.

As soon as Lyon lost Anderson, Le Guen subbed in Pauleta.

Unreal. Ben Arfa blows a prime chance to get the hat trick, and Cleber Anderson sees right after. It's going to be a tough half now.

2-3 the final. Doubles from Ben Arfa and Pauleta. I don't understand how Pauleta was left unmarked on that second one. Not good. Other than the Lyon played bravely with ten men, and it only showed in the dying minutes of the half. Good win.

now THAT was an exciting game. so great to see Ben Arfa playing so well. Not that Benzema had a poor match by any means. Cool to see Fred make an appearance at the very end. The only thing i would have changed was to give some playing time to Keita...he needs to see more action.

as for benzema's match, it may have been his best ever despite not scoring. he was awesome from awesometown.

showing there's no limit to her cruelty, Karaba the sorceress
has transformed poor little Kirikou into a player for PSG.
