Breaking News: Man Utd have given a 6pm (GMT - 1pm EST or 10am PST, I think) deadline for PSG to say yes or no for their Ronaldinho offer. I just pray to God that PSG don't get arrogant over this and reject the offer. I got the news from Sky Sports News

And now Sky Sports News is issuing a statement from Barcalona:

"We are agreeing with the players representatives the final details of the deal"

I feel ill

Hang in there Billy...The Barca statement is interesting because I wasn't aware that they had even talked directly with Assis yet, and were intentionally avoiding him. If something has changed in that scenario, I don't know who his "representatives" are.

This long and overdone process has now become an intersting game of chicken.

And I retract...Globo has picked up the "unofficial" news as well.

Even though it's in Portugese, it more or less says the same things at the Planetfootbal article.

From soccernet:

And, in an intriguing twist to the saga, it emerged that United offered goalkeeper Fabien Barthez in their original offer for the 23-year-old playmaker.

Does this mean they expect Timmy to be #1 right out of the box.

Oh yeah, and they say he is going to Barca

Wow... Barthez and the $$$ and still no deal? PSG, Man Utd, Barca, Real - there was some serious pull in on this deal. I'm worried what SAF has done to team morale now... RVN came out in the papers last week petitioning fans to stand behind SAF as he believes the manager knows what's best. I hope he's right.

i hope the turncoat injures himself or something comming off the plane or somehting then he will fail his fitness test, maybe barca still take him but they wont get use of him right away.. i know that im being like 6 years old, the press is to blame... they sold him to Manu so long ago...

I really hope there is someone that alex has as a back up, a striker or right wing... a winger would be better if we cant get both... man... firepower is an issue.
