The young ones are demonstrating the hustle and intensity that, were the veterans to combine such with skills and experience, this would have been a match for the Ligue 1 lead. Kudos to the youth for their energy and commitment.

That being said, Karim Benzema still nearly broke them down.

Rothen is also actually slow compared to those in midfield right now...he's been ran down from behind several times.

0-0, 38eme.

Having extolled their virtues...Lyon get one in the 41st, one in the 43rd, 0-2 OL.

DAMN!

I expected a 5-0 loss before the game started so there's time to still get humiliated .

I hope PLG knows that all this crap will do is effect the young players .

Pauleta, in the 60th, off a Rothen corner.

The correct thing to do is what PLG is doing; informing the club's day to day expectations with youth challenging authentically for spots, while mixing in some vets at the right time...of course, managment is knowing your squad well enough to correctly identify the right time...

1-2 right now.

Govou, from lack of marking earlier in the run, with his 3rd goal in 14 matches... 1-3, in the 84th minute.

PLG and the players are rightly dejected, but I'm not. This is the only path forward. The SQUAD, as a TEAM, must consider and confront every challenge.

This club played well/hard/intensely/skillfully enough to beat pretty much every other Ligue 1 club today, in my view.

They need to remember that.

Pauleta, in the 91st, off a set-piece again... 2-3.

and...full time.

PSG 2-3 OL.

A difficult outcome to accept, but certainly, to me, the right score on the day.

Something, imv, to build upon.

I think that PLG is probably using Pauleta correctly; we certainly need to examine how this club gives up goals, historically over the last five years, in the last minutes of either half.

That was disappointing.

The defence needs a look at. This season we've conceded far too many goals.
