Game so far, quite fun. Excellent graphics, fun character design. A classic RPG.

If you have an xbox, and you like either star wars or RPG's, you need this game.

If you don't have an xbox, you suck. ;)

This game will also be released for the PC. :)

Not until this October, though. :(

This game had a bunch of buzz, and it was all true. Fun game, with a story that puts Episodes 1 and 2 to shame.

I've gone through the game on the light side, and am beginning to play through again on the dark. The game changes so much depending on which path you choose.

Any Xbox owners out there pick this one up?

It's on my Christmas wish list. Should I just go ahead and order it for myself?

Go ahead and order it. Scratch it off the Christmas wish list and put Ninja Gaiden there instead. :D

(Mea culpa for starting a duplicate thread - I thought I had thoroughly searched for an existing one.)

I'm glad I'm done w/ Undergrad, because w/ CM 03/04 ,PES 3 and KOTOR on PC I'd have no time for studying and other Academic things...,

Though I got the PC version of this game a while back, I've only recently had the time to start playing it.

This game absolutely rocks (so far)!

Funny thing is I just got an XBOX and KOTOR. This game does Rock. I've made 2 characters, myself and my G/F. She's going to lean more to the darkside than me..lol.

I picked this up on Xbox a few weeks ago, and it's addictive. I'm playing thru on the light side, and have already become a Jedi. Now I need to finish up the side quests on Dantooine so I can move on after the Star Forge.

Playing thru light-side first.

I'm currently playing through on the light side. Once I finish the game, I'll try it again playing through on the dark side.

By the time I'm finished with that, I should be ready for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swkotor_sithlords/) (currently scheduled to be released later this year).

As an certified Star Wars nerd whose favorite game genre is the RPG somehow I didn't like KotOR. Maybe its because I prefer Square/Enix style RPG's like Chrono Trigger and the Final Fantasy series (at least up until VII and Tactics), but then again I at least liked the Neverwinter/Icewind/Baldur's games. Could also be because I've played the Tabletop/Pencil 'N Paper Star wars RPG before so it wasn't anything new to me. Then again I played SW Galaxies for 5 months after launch and had 3 accounts before I finally admitted to myself that it was one of the worst games I had ever played and quit. FWIW though I'll still play KotOR II as, well, that's what Star Wars nerds do...

KD, you forgot to credit Homer Simpson with your SIG.

Thankfully, I saved just prior to my mistake.

Additionally, these Dark Jedi are a pain in the arse to kill. As are the heavy assault droids.

I haven't found the time to play as much as I'd like to. My Light side character is just arrived on Kashyyk, but my DarkSide character is soon to be leaving Taris.

Isn't there also a third option, which is to play a character that is neither light side nor dark side?

I think you can be neutral by choosing an equal number of "dark" and "light" actions. You know, only be kind of a prick.
