I guess everyone forgot we have a league match tomorrow. :)
No predictions from me this time. It could go either way, depending on our attitude.

i just thought this morning "we played on thursday so i bet it's on sunday we have a game... I'll go check bs for the schedule" and here we have you helping me out :D
I don't know how we'll play. i think with Cahill back and with a satisfying win it COULD make us that more jubilent and happy to play, which would hopefully mean well-oiled-goal-scoring-squad turns up. or we could get painfully let down...
we shall see, we shall see.

This whole Europe thing is starting to throw my football clock off.
Oh for the good old days of choking in the 1st round of the competition. :)

Same here. I'm so used to having football only on Saturdays that I kinda don't know what to do with myself this morning...

I agree. We need to stay in the top half of the table. There's no point in doing well in Europe if our league performance is going to suffer and put us in a relegation battle (i.e. Ipswich Town back in the day)

why do both places i find streams have the game today at 1400 (which would be now) yet on the league schedule it says for yesterday at 3pm. i get that they changed it maybe because of the uefa game thursday, but now i'm all messed up about time... i better not miss this damn game *grumblegrumble'gotupearlygrumble* :(
edit: 2pm GMT versus eastern summer time is only 4 hours right? which means i have 50 mins... *takes a deep breath* stupid weeks difference in changing the clocks. :(

It's stupid isn't it. I hate putting the clocks back. My phone does it automatically apparently, but i'd forgotten that and set it back manually so I gained 2 hours/ Luckily I woke up in the night and checked it against BBC News 24 and managed to be at my football match on time.
Any streams for this, I don't believe its on tv.

Damn! I forgot the game was today and reformatted my laptop with Ubuntu and can't get the wireless to work and sopcast doesn't work with OSX. This sucks.

Both sides look ready for the game today. Cahill got off a weak chance, good setup from Baines and Arteta though.
This ref isn't calling anything. Which I think I kinda like.

Man, we almost scored there.
Baines did some fantastic work up the left, beat his man, got in the box and put it in front of the net. No one claimed it but Carlsey picked up the loose ball and Cahill went wide.

Long ball to Timmy H.

I'm also liking that we're back to a 4-5-1. You can say what you want about negative footbal and poor tactics, but that system works for us.
