First of all, my many thanks to both Rick and Aaron for all their help in the process. Rick, I know you were in Zimbabwe so Aaron was the only benefactor of my promised pints at the Tavern. (He will attest to me always having a Corona "on-deck" for him). I'll get you next time.

It was also nice to meet some fellow Gooners from the Board: Nick (HomeatHighbury) and Dan (Gunnersfanatic).

But definitely I've made a promise to myself that this will be the first of many more trips to Arsenal.

So here it is Ladies and Gentlemen, some select images from my first ever visit to London and The Emirates. I took approximately 150 pictures on each matchday, so I just narrowed them down. Enjoy! :D

Wow. Amazing pictures. I can't imagine what it would've been like to have seen the 7-nil. I would've died from excitement. I don't know how I'm going to prepare for my exam now... so mundane by comparison.

I agree about the Slavia fans, although I did keep wishing we'd score more goals not only to make us look good, but to shut them the f*ck up!! The ploy failed. They would have still been singing if it was 70-0.

Good to see that pic of me attests to my sobriety all day!!

LOL. Yeah, like I said to Aaron afterwards, if my plane back to NY crashed and burned and I would've died a happy man.

Here's a funny story: I actually missed the first goal. It was a cold night and I figured it would be better to hit the head early instead of halftime. So I'm in there with 2 other blokes when we hear the goal. We all just looked at each other like, "Dammit! Great timing!"

I'd also like to (belatedly) thank Rick & Aaron for sorting me and my wife out when we were there last month for Derby and West Ham. It did make me sad that I never got to visit Highbury, but I'll still never forget that feeling on taking my seat in the stand at Emirates and having it hit me that I was actually there, watching the lads play at home after all these years!!

I took some cool photos of the Derby match, as well as several on the stadium tour we went on the following week. If anyone's interested, I could post some.

Thanks again!
