With Martin Jol finally made to walk the plank, the Juande Ramos can begin as soon as he a) decides he wants it, and b) Spurs and Sevilla actually agree upon compensation. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/7063237.stm)

It's nice in theory, but I really don't see a competitive Premier League match (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7063261.stm) being held in the US anytime soon. It's not a question of money--clubs make good cash on summer tours. You can argue that you spread the "brand name" of the Premier League through competitive games--but that's already being done on these tours and through television sets most weekends. It's not surprising that all of this talk comes up with the 'Fins and Giants over in London.

Bad time for Totti to get hurt--he misses out on Milan this weekend, and is in question for the Roman derby on Wednesday. (http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/oct26g.html)

Let Kaka open the door...to your (Galatico) heart. (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=reu-italykakamadrid&prov=reuters&type=lgns)

D.C. comes home with everything to play for next Thursday. (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/10/25/AR2007102502958.html) Certainly were uninspiring last night...

Another step towards a new park in Houston. (http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/5247380.html)

I still can't comprehend why Ramos would want the Spurs job? He's a king in Sevilla, they still have alot of talent, pump out alot of good young players, and has a good squad right now, not full of over-rated and unnecessary players like Spurs. Are Premiership fans so smug and arrogant that they think potential candidates will drop anything to manage one of their teams?

No...Sp*rs supporters and their board are just delusional. They fancy themselves a "big" club.
