It's nice in theory, but I really don't see a competitive Premier League match (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/7063261.stm) being held in the US anytime soon. It's not a question of money--clubs make good cash on summer tours. You can argue that you spread the "brand name" of the Premier League through competitive games--but that's already being done on these tours and through television sets most weekends. It's not surprising that all of this talk comes up with the 'Fins and Giants over in London.
