Supposedly Clive Allen is taking over, then Ramos in the future.

What a shame, Jol was doing a brilliant job!! :p

You're not being a good enforcer. It's in the Other Teams' Thread, per a Times report. They say that the Spuds have actually come to an agreement with Juande Ramos. Now, as for why Juande Ramos would take this job now, I have no idea, no matter what his current club's form nor what his relationship with José María del Nido would dictate.

Shut up Dan :p

Jol's reign ends with a 2-1 defeat to Getafe, despite them leading.

Is it St Totteringham's Day every day this season? Looks like it!! :p

Was not confirmed earlier so why go on the basis of an article. He handed his resignation BEFORE THE GAME TODAY hence the reason he took charge today, nobody else could. Besides we had a thread about Mourinho getting sacked, why not about that of our nearest rivals?

In conclusion, if you don't like the thread stay out of it!

I was kind of hoping he'd stay on in charge since he is shi**

According to ITV, the players apparently didn't know that Jol had resigned. Clive Allen looked genuinely shocked when told at half time that he had tendered his resignation so that tells me that he may not be taking over just yet - news to him!

Also it seems the resignation was tendered an hour before the match kicked off.

Okay, so Dan says something and you laugh it off, yet I post at the exact same time (so I didn't know he was posting), and I get chastised. Hmmmm...bias? :p

There, is that better? Did I need to put an emoticon in there? :D

This kind of sucks, it's not like they could have gotten any worse.

Martin Jol's mother is still a whore.

I was also hoping they would keep Jol. He was a great coach from my perspective.

Because you have already blasted me in another thread today and you have to work your way back up in my estimation. :p

Anyway, Spurs fans are confusing. Singing "stand up for Martin Jol" and ITV interviewed a few fans outside, all of them said "good job he's gone, get Ramos in blah blah blah".

They're gonna be gutted when that tool Paul Jewell gets the job :p
