Absolutely huge game for us, probably the biggest game of the season to date, aside from the derby game of course. Lets do this City!

in my fantasy pool I picked Chelsea to win this game. I hope I am wrong ;)

were there any injuries coming out of Chelsea's Champion's League yesterday?

Hmm, well as you posted earlier Ashley Cole and John Terry are definitely out. So that should give us some advantage.

perhaps I should change it to draw instead of a Chelsea win.......

Perhaps, without Terry and Cole their defense is a little suspect. They are still a powerful team though. Hopefully Hart, or whoever is in goal, will look better than Shalke's keeper.

Here is the consensus pick from my fantasy pool

Chelsea Wins 68.2%
Draw 18.8%
Manchester City Wins 13.1%

That's a huge margin. It also goes to show that the majority of the fans is not giving Manchester City enough credit.

If we look at our all time record against Chelsea, we are 42W-36D-53L, which is not bad considering Chelsea is a power house.

During the 2004/2005 season, when Chelsea's only lost of the season came against Manchester City. In the same year, we managed to draw at Stamford Bridge. However, we lost 4 straight matches vs Chelsea in the past 2 seasons. All I can say is, there's hope, but not much.

There is definitely hope, especially considering this years City team is completely different from last years, and the years before. We basically have been blessed with an almost brand new team and a fantastic manager. Elano's run of play recently has been insane, and perhaps the best in the league. We have the players to beat Chelsea, unlike last year when I would have said it is near hopeless unless we get a lucky goal and bunker on them. This year I really think we could take it to them and play for a win instead of a draw.

I hope you're right man. I hope we stun EPL on saturday and stick it to not only Chelsea fans, but also Man Utd, Liverpool, and Arsenal fans. I am going to hedge on this one and go ahead and pick Chelsea as the winner because I don't usually let my emotions get involved with statistics and probability. Also, if Manchester City does lose, at least I get something out of it ha ha ha.

It also doesnt help that this is AT Chelsea. Its gonna be tough.

I think we should be able to get a 1-1 Draw at Stamford Bridge if not more... But I think the best part of this trip would be for scounting purposes to pounce on some of that talent that is being misused by Grant.

Drogba, Joe Cole, SWP...?

Shaun Wright-Phillips, boy I miss that guy. He was so good at City and it was a bad choice on his part to leave. Chelsea paid more than 20 Million pounds for him to be a bench warmer. He rarely got to start and he's basically wasted talent over there. He really should have stayed at City, where he would have had 15 goals and 10 assists every year and be the every day starter.

Oh well, selling him solved most of our debt problems. If we buy him back, it will be at a huge discount ha ha ha

Havent Chelsea got that home record of being undefeated in nearly 70 league games?:eek::eek: Something daft like that. I'd settle for a draw, so ill be optimistic and go 1-1.

Its definitely the spot. Danny, the bar owner is a City fan and he is usually sporting his old school kit. I might be over there.

Bravarookie are you gonna be over there tomorrow morning?

CB: Glad to see you're making a great recovery.

I'm looking for City to do the phenominal thing and beat Chelsea, their home record is there for the taking, :D Come on City. Dunne will have to be careful he isn't carded, particularly in situations with DD. The defense will have to be more protective of the goalie for this match.

Lynne, thanks for the kind words previously. I am making a pretty decent recovery, all though my bike is completely screwed, oh well. And I got to keep all my teeth!

The defense will definitely have to be on watch, especially with Drogba who will certainly be looking for fouls, and thats putting it nicely. I am pretty certain Micah can match his speed though, and I am less worried about DD beating the backline in a footrace.

Good news. :D We'll have to keep DD out of our third then. SGE on mcfc.co.uk said that he's not man marking him. Makes for an interesting match! ?

Should be a corker.

In my article for my work, i tipped us.

There is some insane odds out there, $7 for the win, and $3.75 for the draw :o.
