Hopefully, he gets a start...we need him. I just have my doubts as to whether he will last the rest of the season without some sort of injury to his legs.

Very good news. With Sonko back and Convey back soon we should be doing better. Newcastle will be a tough test, but it is at home so this will be an interesting match.

then again, players coming back rarely have in immediate impact in turning things round, just as teams don't fall apart the moment key players get injured. It takes a little time usually for confidence to grow/diminish.
And there's no guarantee he'll start.

Convey most importantly needs to regain his confidence. In my judgement, he is a the type of player who has the talent but plays according to his current confidence level. So Coppell probably knows how to handle him and allow him to get more games in reserves to get his mind off the injury and back on his game.
