New 2008 Adidas templates revealed (Euro 2008 kits)

Props to GreekChampion04 for getting pics of the new Adidas jerseys designed for Euro 08 teams, plus some others as well.

I know there are alot of fakes floating around, but these seemed more reliable to me. Mainly because no one is trying to sell anything. They're just pictures of new jerseys.

None of these tops are a direct reflection on what the new Revs jersey will look like, but they do give some indication as to the general design themselves.

In general, I would call them simple, almost retro. Gone are the all the piping and paneling for the most part.

I know threads like these aren't always well received in here, but I think it's kind of exciting to think about. I would advise caution, of course. We won't know the actual designs until they are released. How long does that usually take after the close of the MLS Cup? Does anyone remember? I know the actual jersey designs have already been approved by the FO so it's probably just up to production time at this point, right?

The Trinidad kit looks like the rumoured New England kit, which basically means we will in fact be playing in a hideous jersey next season:(

Hopefully we get a sponsor to cover up the hideousness

[EDIT] Here's a very quick, very sloppy mock-up I did, just to give you a general idea of what it will most likely look like. Seriously, I did this in about two minutes, I'm too lazy to clean it up.

That's what I love about the German kit, it's so cheesy and reminiscent of the 70's and 80's kits. I do find it odd that the black bar gets no use, while the other colors of the flag get small strips. It's an interesting design choice, but for some reason (probably my heritage) I love it. Our last kit was better but I still like this one.

I think that would be cool for us (navy instead of blue), with the Paraguay uniform as our away kit instead of a mirror image:

I wish we'd try something different this year, your idea of two separate jerseys would be nice, but there are teams that have distinguishing marks I wish we had. DC's stripes, LA's old "sash", FCD's hoops etc. There was one kit in that thread that had a very subtle blue on blue vertical stripe, maybe something like that would be cool?

We should go back to red socks. I can't think of another team in the world that does blue/blue/red.

I've seen San Jose's jerseys for next year, they have a template I wouldnt mind on the Revs.

No wit. I'm dead serious about going back to red socks. As for the template, I'm fine with having navy with red sides. It differentiates us with red bull and LA.

I thought the best overall look we've ever had was the 2002-03 version, with the blue jerseys and shorts and red socks. A slightly darker blue than those would work just fine
