Should Little Ron come to OT, will he have less, about the same or more impact than Cantona?

Discuss.

Silly... Everyone knows that even if God were to come to OT, he wouldn't beat out The King in this poll.

Little Ron might be a better player than Cantona, but he can't touch him in any other category.

The intensity of Cantona alone puts little Ron in the shade.

Nobody knew when Eric came that he would have the kind of impact he had so you never know.

Cantona is the best player ManU has had in decades (the only players comparable since Bestie left are Keano & Schmeichel - possibly ruud if he keeps it up for 4 or 5 more years). Canotna was signed for a mere 1.2mn from Leeds, and was absolute magic. At a time when average foreigners came in and had the fan 'wowing' at their tricks, Cantona was the only true world class one. Remember his trick, where he would kind of volley a ball with his heel and it would land EXACTLY at somebodies feet? Remember some of his best goals? And he always came up under pressure - ALWAYS. As much as I hope/believe Ron will do really well, I don't know if anybody will have the "Cantona effect" for a long long time, since Cantona was one of the first 'world class' players in the EPL

giggs is also the best player man utd has had in decades. overshadowed by beckham, but he enjoyed 'not' getting the attention. but nobody will have the cantona effect. there are one of these players for every team.

I agree with everythign you say except being overshadowed by Becks. Off the pitch, he was (remember those burger adds he did about 10 years ago... hilarious!). On the pitch, however he has undisputedly been the best winger in EPL history and has had his own moments of greatness (FA cup semi finals, anyone?). I was far more worried about losing Giggs than I was about Beckham coming into the offseason. The only reason I didn't add the G-man (:D) is that he is a quiet player, whereas Schmeichel kept the back-4 in order to the extent where a very average defense (sans Stam) won the Champions League. Keano is also "Mr. Leader" as goes without really saying.
