I saw the sub 17 as a very exciting team with alot of potential like the 2005 sub 20 which I hope it can come out with half as good players as that sub 20 that basically all the players are amazing

any way a few prospects that will be under 21 then

1. Sherman Cardenas- hasnt played this season but has played on the sub 20, and prob the most promising player in colombia
2. Nazarith - has a NT call up and starter at America at 17
3. Trellez - 18 at flamengo
4. Padilla - 17 junior striker (was a starter when they were good)
5. Yessu Caberea - 17 striker wanted by Barca

well guys just noticed most our prospects are strikers that has ot be exciting :)

The interesting point is there is WAY better product then what we even put out for sub-20 in the last couple years -- case and point:

Pino --where was he for the Sub20 - 2005 group?

what about the sub 20 - 2007

Where was Hidalgo ?

Where was Montero ?

Who's not finding these players?

Montero and hilgado are 2 small dudes and Lara wanted tall guys that can do headers hence why he didnt put quintero at striker which was prob the best one he had....

that whole sub 20 sucked and there were lot of good players that played in the colombian league that werent given shots

Montero was on fire at the pro level at 19, he should have played the sub20, and to be honest, he has lost his flame since he has been on that horrid team.

to be honest im not that worried about montero. hes in a really bad team with no playmaker. besides, if anyone can remember dayros season after his goleador season he only had like 5 goals, now look at him. Montero will be back to form soon enough

I think Lara learned his leason after the sub 20 disaster cause he kept Montero, Hilgado out of the squad who turn out to be the 2 top scorers of the season for just random tall guys. He made a mistake and think he learned from it, hopefully.

but I agree u dont have to be tall to be a beast (messi, tevez) but then again u prob wont be exported to a good team or play alot for it (saviloa)

I still cant believe chalar made the team and started? does this kid even still play soccer?

I think you have your black guy's mixed up! I thought the eastern Africans were the tall/lean ones (marathon runners), as opposed to their western counter parts who are stocky/well built with the propensity to become outstanding sprinters. Or am I wrong?

We need an expert to settle this. Calling Dr. Watson! Calling Dr. Watson! :-X
