I saw on the news earlier that places such as Malibu are having terrible fires in that part of the States, how's thing with you Leslie?

Used to live the other side of Topanga Canyon in Woodland Hills. My cousin is now down in Oceanside in a pretty dodgy area near SanDiego.
Hopefully the rains will come early.

Leslie e-mailed me on sunday Claret,he was ok then,but i have'nt heard anything since,iv'e lived here for 20 years and these are by far the worst fires iv'e ever seen,as of today,tuesday ,the winds are still very strong,does'nt look like getting any better soon.

Hope they stop soon. Just watching it on tv, they certainly look frightening. Trying to contact my cousin today, shes getting on age wise and has been in hospital.
