The Boston camera guys probably knew who he was, but I'll be damned if the commentators did.

I'd be surprised if Tim McCarver knew all of the players names on either team playing, let alone a MLS player. I thought it was Twellman too.

Looking good with a $20 beer.
I thought that was him and came on here to check.
I am sure that Nicol will understand.

Yap that definitely was TnT. Anyway, RedSox better win the world series. And REVS better win the MLS Cup.

That was great... the beer part made it extra special....When is the last time a pro athlete has been seen at another sporting event drinking beer? Priceless.
Let's hope seeing the Sox celebrate motivates him to get multiple goals in the playoffs and head back to MLS Cup.
Of course I had to explain to most of my friends who he was and my enthusiasm. They were impressed that he was drafted by KC Royals and comes from a baseball family...

IIRC in TnT's first year he wasn't doing so well and then he injured his wrist in a game. he played the next game with the wrist wrapped and had such luck that he keeps wrapping the wrist as a superstition. I asked him this once a while ago and this was the answer I got.
and hey, he still seems to be doing well, so in my eyes: if it works, do it! Hope that clears it up for you!
