Anyone else find it odd that our best 3 goals of the season were scored by one of our D-mids and our starting central defender (who, I might add, had never even taken a shot in an MLS match before that goal)???

Don't get me wrong, I'll take 'em however we get 'em, but I doubt any of the other teams in the league has a top 3 scored by such unlikely candidates.

I was actually thinking the same thing. The top three goals were scored by two players who had a combined goal total of four for the season.

This I guess is not too surprising in that if you have defensive minded players scoring goals, then it must be very highlight worthy.

Just think Jeff Larentowiz's other goal was pretty spectacular too (laying out parallel to the ground to get his foot onto Ralston's corner kick early in the year vs. Chicago).
