I don't feel good about our chances. Though I will say that at some point in the next month or two I expect a) our midfield to gel some more and actually make it possible for us to control the ball a bit more and b) our (non-Kitson) strikers to find a run of form. If those both happen, we can beat pretty much anyone home or away.

Hopefully Coppell changes the lineup a little. Gunnarson just hasn't been playing well in center mid but it seems he doesn't trust Cisse or Fae starting in that position, at least just yet. Who can we start on the wings? Rosenoir and Hunt again. Just pray that Doyle will unleash his scoring touch.

Premier League arse whooping today.....
Last year, we played with Blackburn...they added during the transfer season, we counted pennies and our opponent's high talent levels are killing "Coppell ball"
I was glad to see Ivar out (he's played like crap lately) but I was hoping that he would be sharing a place on the bench with Doobs.

Time to put Lita/Doyle in for Doobs and play for a tie right now. Go 4 in the back with Shorey/Sonks/Bikey/Shorey and play "long ball" since we still do not have much in the midfield

the thing that kills me about the midfield problems is that we knew Convey and Little were "iffy", Sulky wanted to go to Fulham and Oster is not Premiership quality....why did we not spend the money for a quality wing player to push the starters? In fact, we did nothing in the "off-season" to push the starters with competition from new players.....everyone else did it except us and we're getting killed by teams that we played with last season.
