According to Ole, it sounds like the lads had a bit of a disagreement (however, my Spanish is terrible).
In light of the D'Alessandro vs. Messi incident earlier this year (Barca-Zaragoza), not sure how much I would want to see D'Alessandro back in the NT.

Here's the translated goal.com (http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=449611) article. Aimar doesn't seem to make much of it.

Seems the guys have been reading these forums and echoing some of our "who-ya-think-should-be-called" discussion. Anyway, I think Aimar's explanation/justification of what happened was pretty silly. Although I understand that he would not be openly claiming that he has a problem with el cabezon or viceversa.

D' Alessandro is a never was... I doubt we'll see him on the NT. EVER AGAIN.

And I doubt we'll see him playing again for Zaragoza.

Wow. Should have left Zaragoza when he had the chance this summer.

Great! Perfect time to return to River. :D
Seriously, though, that would be amazing but highly unlikely. Add that to Infobae's rumor of Cavenaghi having chances of coming back.

No wonder Macri's letter and position regarding AFA throwing life savers full of $$ to some clubs. ;)

Aimar is still there but coming back from what else? Injury. El Cabezon is in San Lorenzo right now. Though it's not clear to me whether he's on loan or if Zaragoza sold him. I saw Aimar play this past weekend and he looked good. Probably not even 100% match fit though.

D'Alessandro is playing for San Lorenzo and is actually playing well. San Lorenzo plays River tomorrow in a Copa Libertadores match. If I recall correctly Zaragoza sold 50% of D'Alessandro's rights for 3.5 million euros or dollars. I'm not sure which ones at the moment.

El Zaragoza y Benfica llegaron a un acuerdo y Pablo Aimar jugará las próximas cuatro temporadas en el club portugués, según confirmó el portal maisfutebol. La operación rondaría los 7,5 millones de euros.
