so before today all i knew about my professer was that he was from England. today we were talking about memory and he said "i can still remember every name of the squad and reserves for the team i supported as a boy". so i ask who he supported and he said spurs. So i came back with i'm an arsenal fan and he was shocked, it was pretty funny. then he explained the rivilary between us to the class (they didn't understand how intense it was, they kept trying to compare it to american football team rivalries). then i said that spurs weren't doing to well and that we were unbeaten in like 12 games (correct me if i'm wrong) and hes like "its because your team is full of foreigners". that got me mad and this is where you guys would be so disapointed in me i wanted to counter back with "we have english players" but the only guy coming into my mind was gallas and couldn't remember the absolute obvious guy is walcott. so i countered back with "well were winning everything without henry". After that we had to end the football talk and get back to class but it was fun. He wasn't a real jerk or anything about it and never brought it up again after class or on break so i don't really think he cares (unusual for this situtation).
also it probably wasn't the best time to bring it up since i have a test wednesday but he grades easy, curves the tests and an 80% is an A so i'm hoping i won't do too bad. If I do well i'm going to wear my arsenal jersey to class on monday haha.......oh hell maybe i'll wear it on test day, i'll for sure wear it sometime. Thanks for listening....just thought it would be fun to tell you guys.

That makes sense to me, he's used to mediocrity.;)

FabregasTED, he's expressed his disappointment, leave the man alone with his pain and lack of memory. :D

Tottenham really do have alot more Englishmen than we do. Their bench is packed with them.

16.5 m on Bent. That little bargain is working wonders.

Erm, check the profile. The poster is female. Not that you knew beforehand, and it is common practice to use your own gender, but I figured you should know that. ;)

Yes because that's exactly what I do before every single post I make - check the posters profile to verify personal details I may or may not post about, then compose my post.
Sorry if I offended you arsenalfc08.

I'm not sure I'd wear the kit on test day. He may not curve your test!

Back when I was in college in the early 80's I used to be a Yankees fan (before I grew weary of Steinbrenner's shenanigans) and I would wear my cap to class. My econ professor would interrupt his lecture in mid-sentence to announce the score of the Yankees' loss from the day before and then return straight back to the lecture without skipping a beat.

Those are the best. The little subtle ones, don't make a big fuss but just let you know exactly what they think of it.

I found out today my bio prof is a Man U fan.
We have a bit of a bet going on for the game coming up.
Arsenal win - extra credit for me
Man U win - extra credit for everyone in the class but me.

Hopefully that Sp*rs fan prof doesn't have tenure.... he's clearly not smart enough to be teaching a college class.
