Nice job. You wax a Division Four team. Then you gloat. Makes you look extraordinarily classy. Excellent work.

The even better work is the result more or less posted in the topic.

Clearly a rocket scientist at work

Hey you shmucks would be all over my club if they would have lost to the Mid-Michigan Bucks in the US Open Cup.

They started talking crow about how the Revolution lost to their club and that Metro would be next on their list. So I am able to gloat and I deserve to do so. They opened their big mouths and now I get to turn on the stove and boil the crow so I can serve it to them nice and hot. Question is do they like it regular or with some nice white or red sauce on top.

What about our friend from Des Moines who thought his Menace was gonna knock off the Milwaukee Bavarians in Round 1 before the Tournament started. Well we all know what happened didn't we and we all ragged on him.

You want to talk like a big shot, be my guest but make sure you can take it while dishing it out. IF you don't have the stomach for it, get out.

If my club would have lost tonight, I would be the first to congratulate those Mid-Michigan Bucks supporters. But as I have said before and plus Bucks supporters like editor dave kept invading the Metro board and started his trash talking. So here I am for those Bucks supporters like him to look at this thread, because this is the US Open Cup thread to take a look and learn not to get to worked up. Your gonna get disapointed.

That's all and now it's on to Round 4.

You clearly don't understand.

We're not arguing with you.

We're laughing AT you.

Please provide links to "all those" Bucks fans predicting victory. And, make sure to include more than one example, since "all those" is plural.

And, live it up. You have a team than can beat a PDL side by three legitimate goals.

A new low, even for Metros fans.

I don't care WHAT somebody said before hand, PDL is an amateur league that plays two months in the summertime with minimal practice.

Metros are a Division One professional league with a $1.7mm player budget.

It's like when the seven year old accross the street claims he can wax me in Basketball. I beat him but I never give him crap about it or feed him his words.

That's because it would be as classless as the guy who started this thread.

Still, we should pity the poor Metros - eight years of MLS and they have yet to eve win squat, so maybe beating an amateur team looks like a big deal to them.

I know that I "said" the Bucks would win. but if you reread my posts every prediction i made with the Bucks winning went along with a cute smiley face, or it was just so out of the ordinary that if you actually believed it was true than you're not smart.

Way to wax a 4th division team though. And if you actually had seen the game I doubt you would be gloating as much as you are... The Bucks were very very close to equalizing, and it should be just embarressing for an MLS team to not only be held to one goal for so long, but to almost give up an equalizer a few times...

Congrats to Metro, but the scoreline was defenitely not an indicator as to how the game went.

Tarring all Metros fans with the same brush is really off the mark. I'll assume that the people who are generalizing about the "low" qualities of Metros fans from this one poster haven't notices that he's the only one talking here. Or was anyone other than Gio17 gloating about this result?

I'm just glad that the big crowd got to see a good game.

The only Bucks fan who Metros fans had any real problem with was the guy who posted extremely tasteless World Trade Center smack on the Metros board. I won't put his name here in the hope that he's actually so embarrassed by his callousness that he feels sorry for his statements.

Anyhow, kudos to the Bucks and their fans for a great crowd. Here's to hoping that some of the 4,000+ people who saw the game last night will come back to watch the Bucks kick the holy hell out of the rest of their league. And I for one wish we had drawn a team that's a less likeable underdog than Mid-Michigan.

i second everything you said even if i'm a metros fan
it's a shame we need to gloat after a win over a PDL team but i hope we can beat you up in the 4th round

here, i'll put it in perspective for all you metro fans:

it really doesn't matter that you won your 3rd round game. in a few weeks both the Bucks fan and Metro fans will be at home watching the Crew repeat. :)

I'm not going to rag on the guy any further in regards to how classless it may or may not be to brag about beating a PDL team, but I must say he pulled an Albright with the thread title.

The thread title should have been "The Bucks Stop Here"!
