the Chelsea fan is more ‘society’
a lot of our fans also go to the opera, the theatre,
“He’s the suit-and-tie fan, the executive fan
here's an example of such a fan.

Interesting bit on the jewish fans.
It used to be, and probably still is, that Chelsea had just as many, if not more, jewish fans than Spurs.
I remember reading that in the times, about twenty years ago.

a lot of our fans carry calling/business cards too, but you would be none too pleased to receive one from them :D

got it.
It's like Jose is trying to make us hate him, to ease the pain and stop the Jose chants.
Interesting.

Unlike Liverpool supporters, I usually believe the Sun on stories like this (transfers NO).
I don't know why people are surprised by this, if anything I've learned to never be surprised by Jose. That's why I love him.

I wonder if I'm the lone Chelsea fan to not enjoy operas? :D

I don't believe it. It doesn't read like things that Jose would say; not his style.
The book is almost certainly unofficial, otherwise that 'orrible rag would have made a point of saying that it was official.
And when you combine "The Portu-geezer’s comments, made to a journalist before he lost his manager’s job" with the source it comes from... I wouldn't trust that story as far as I can throw it (and until these Royal Mail strikes are over, the story is on a 19" CRT monitor!)

Trying very hard to keep my anti-union mouth shut! (And I belong to a union!)
However, you're right. That line about the Portu-geezer’s comments etc does sound quite shaky. If it was an excerpt of an official book I think this would have been a much bigger news story than it is.
