Looks like Ray is leaving the door pretty much wide open for Etch to be back in the starting XI on Saturday. I'm OK with that but I know other opinions on this board may differ.
Don't worry though - isn't Diablo due for another vacation as soon as he picks up his next yellow card?

With people being out due to Red Cards, Nat Call-ups and home emergencies, Ray really has no choice but to consider Etch for the Quakes game. He's the best we have left.
If we had more people available I think Etch would be riding the pine.

I think you will find Q2 playing his heart out in Germantown tonight to show Ray that he, not Etch, should step in for Kovalenko Saturday.

Q2 better play his heart out to show that he deserves to be on the roster.

He had 2 assists, but he could've played a lot better. A little defense would've been nice as well.

Indeed. He never would have had to take the corner Petke scored on if he hadn't taken a horrendous touch in the box that gave the Pittsburgh defense time to close him down. He had a few more giveaways that made me think he was both rusty and just not ready to play that role for 90 minutes in MLS.
