Have you seen how useless he has been for Everton? He could only function with someone else (eg Viduka) doing all the legwork for him and now that he is playing with someone like Johnson it is very clear that he only works in one kind of system.
1 goal this season hardly does anything to wash away the doubt. A class, class striker can score goals for any club if he gets the service. Yakubu can't.

Rooney's not overrated. Dude's 21 and already a monster. When he's 25 we'll all be hoping Real pays to take him out of this damn league we'll be so sick of him.
Overrated? Aaron Lennon. Dude's like a cheetah, but there's not a whole lotta good football in there.
Xabi Alonso. Mistake prone, doesn't score that often, and is a DM lifted sometimes for defensive purposes. He's one of those still living off the success in the CL, when in reality he's the fourth best CM on his team.
please, he's nothing Captain Kolo can't handle

Well neither of them did too much work, they both sorta waited for Downing to put the ball half a metre in front of them so they could shoot. That's about it.
Running up to take a pen is about the most work Yakubu ever did.

rooney is a hell of a player. frankly, i'm THANKFUL he's such an idiot at times. if his head catches up to his ability -- and he's teamed with c.ronaldo -- that's just flippin' scary.Agreed about Mikel, I watched a lot of Chelsea games last season & he was superb. Would rate just above the likes of Diaby & Denilson. But has proven over and over that he cant tackle worth sh1tso has scholes. and he's a damn fine midfielder.
in spite of being a manchester united player.

lennon, walcott,
o i wish this was outside of the EPL. I think Gilardino is the most overrated player in the world today.
Agreed. Plus Freddy Adu.
