Sadly, I see this line-up being our best option:
----------------LEHMANN-----------------
-------MERTESACKER--METZELDER--------
-A. FRIEDRICH--------------------JANSEN-
-----------------ROLFES-----------------
-FRINGS----------------------BOROWSKI-
------------SCHWEINSTEIGER------------
------------------------GOMEZ-----------
----------KURANYI-----------------------
Schweini and Borowski could probably switch, too. And if Metzelder's not completely fit, I'd stick Arne in the center and play Castro at right-back.
God, we need Schneider :(

Scheize, it won't let me edit my post. Anyway, according to ESPN, Schneider will be healthy for the internationals and Borowski has pulled out with a back problem so, my revised line-up:
----------------LEHMANN-----------------
-------MERTESACKER--METZELDER--------
-A. FRIEDRICH--------------------JANSEN-
-------------FRINGS--ROLFES------------
-SCHNEIDER------------SCHWEINSTEIGER-
------------GOMEZ------------------------
--------------------KURANYI---------------

Since we're making threads in advance, can I make the Euro2008 final one? :D

No... The game is in just over a week, so I wouldn't consider that to much of "in advanced".

It's in München with Lehmann on goal, I have to tune in to this one.

As long as he doesn't make any blunder that day, Munich supporters shouldn't boo Lehmann, even if they like Kahn better.

I don't care. I will boo at his sorry ass no matter where he plays and who he plays for. I think people will boo at him in this game, that will give Bierhoff something to bitch about after the match.

Maybe Hildebrand will get a chance, qualification should be wrapped up by then.

Haven't seen Valencia play for a while. Has Timo seen a lot of action this season?

I have seen him last veekend in the 2-1 loss at home against Espanol.. The reason I watched the game was to see how he performes at Valencia
Average to put it nicely, nothing spectacular, but can't really blame him with the goals..

Hmm, knowing that Enke won't get any chance to play I'm somewhat concerned. Lehmann needs match practice after his injury.

Yeah, go ahead then, it's only our national team.

I've never understood this sort of behavior. He is a national team player. How can you boo him. Just because your idol was dropped in favor of him. The idol who was a mere shell of himself when he was dropped. Lehmann didn't hold a gun to klinsmann's head. Klinsmann gave the job to lehmann based on his own assessment. If anything it was kahn and his bayern butt buddy ulli hoeness who tried to pressure klinsmann into giving kahn the nod. This type of yobbish behavior by "fans" disgusts me.
If tomorrow frings or mertesacker gets dropped in favor of some other players, I will NEVER boo those players when the play for the national team. It is still my national team and those players are representing the country and deserve support, not scorn.
This is not to say that I think lehmann should be in goal for germany. Frankly he hasn't been good for a year now and I think we need to give others a chance to see what they can do, but I'm not gonna show up at the stadium to boo him. That's just silly.

I love how you can conclude why I dislike him and how it all hangs together based on 3-4 lines from me. If I tell my forename you could probably also conclude who I' am and write an biography about me. You're a genius in disguise.
Just because someone is a nationalplayer doesn't mean I will like him in any way. A shirt change will not change my view in this case.

Intelligence is related to disliking a specific football player? NO, don't even answer that one. I'm already laughing at this one.

This is getting OT, lets get back to discussing the match since I won't answer anything related to me disliking your precious NT GK in this thread.

Did anyone question your intelligence because you dislike Lehmann? I was under the impression that was because you announced you would behave in a childish and pathetic manner towards him. Do I like Kahn or Klose? No. Would I ever booe them or throw bananas at them? No.
Did Kuranyi get booed in Dortmund? No, I don't think so and BVB fans are not exactely disinclined to throwing fruits at players they don't like. Must be a Bavarian thing then.

In the service, the say; "You do not have to respect the man, but ALWAYS respect the rank he carries".
Show some respect for the players representing your country, you fool!! They have earned it...like it or not!!!
