You scared me! I thought it was something that meant they might take the title away for using robot drugs or something.
They just want to know what makes the USAbots tick. :)

Does any one think they'll reach their goal of in 50 years building a team capable of playing the Men's World Cup champion? Why are they so anxious for a robotic planet take over? We're past the Johnny 5 era, but how much longer will it be before we can look forward to getting our asses handed to us by robots?

I took some A.I. classes and what you are saying are only "wishes" at this point. The professor talked about the movie "A.I." and he thinks something like that could happen in about 1000 ~ 2000 years.

Have you seen the humunoid robots from last year? THey look like moving spacesuits. So far they've programmed one to kick a penalty and the another to stop the penalty. Granted the 'goalkeeper' is still stiff as hell, but it still manages to locate the ball and deflect the ball if it's within it's armspan. Slapping on a fresh coat of synthetic human skin may take a little bit longer though.
