Rjikaard and Effenburg were midfielders. BTW, Junior Baiano was a walking disaster at WC 1998.

Terry Hurlock and Mark Dennis have gotta make it into the bad boys squad.

Some of the other choices are predictable...

Reading this thread, although there are some old names there are by far too many new ones.

If we're looking for an all time naughty boys theme, then basically no-one from the mid 1980's onwards should be given a spot. Ideally we're talking about players from the 50's and 60's really.
Football was played properly then.
The phrase "it's a man's sport" wasn't simply copyright fodder for some marketing agency, it actually meant something.

I thought that the title of the thread is "All-time Bad Boys". It has nothing to do with toughness. I know a bunch of 120 pound gangsters.... trust me!!!!
