I'd have to agree ... with Ronaldinho/Messi coming in second ...

It pains me to say but I agree. They are deadly together.

I agree that I don't think Henry and Eto'o are compatible on a team in the way that Klose and Toni are, but I do hope your not implying they're players of less quality. I couldn't begin to describe how much I would disagree with that.
In the context of each team's individual league, I do think Klose and Toni have been the most prolific strikeforce. I just don't think the team has been challenged enough. I really wish I could see those two against top Champions League teams.
In the league, they've beaten mostly sub-par teams, got a tie against Schalke, and annihilated a Werder Bremen team which has failed miserably when facing quality opposition. Yes, I am implying that teams in Germany haven't been playing very well this season, from what I've seen (of the select weekly games they show here in the States). Bayern is the obvious exception. Klose and Toni have certainly been in incredible form, but I'd just like to see how effective they are together against top opposition, such as teams with great defense and that have strike combinations which can be as deadly as these two.
This is where my argument against them comes in. They could very well show immense quality against even the greatest opponent. But they have yet to face such a great opponent, so I can't consider placing them above the versatile attack combinations found in Barca, Messi and Henry, specifically. They have been just as effective of a combo as Klose and Toni. Arsenal's Adebayor and van Persie have been extremely effective as well. I don't think I can put Klose and Toni above these, at least not now.

Although they are good I would not call them the best strike duo in Europe.

Only if you promise to ignore everybody else's arguments against yours. That IS how things are done on here after all.
Why don't we do this properly and set up a set of criteria first, i.e. decide what to base our decision on. Real Madrid's Raul and Van Nistelrooy would come on top if we were to consider which duo scored the most CL goals and domestic league goals, for example.
