and this time, it's in the District.
I had dinner tonight at the American City Diner on Connecticut Avenue in Upper Northwest. As I was talking about my summer job with a few friends I heard "GOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZOOOOOO" coming from the back of the room. I was pretty sure it was Pablo Ramirez's voice and turned around to check it out.
It was indeed Pablo Ramirez and it was indeed Galavision. Turns out they have DirecTV. I talked to the cashier guy and he said that they do get some cool stuff there, so I said I'd tell people to check it out.
I don't know what their alcohol selection is, seeing as I can't consume it legally yet, but their menu is four pages long (it is a diner after all), the food is pretty good and really cheap, and the decor is your classic diner thing. And they show cool old movies at nights in another room adjacent to the main one with the TV.
For folks like me in Northwest this might be a pretty good thing to do on a Saturday night when you don't want to trek all the way to Arlington.
