This second movie in the series seems to have died. I see it has run overseas, but nothing in the US and the posted release dates have come and gone. Anyone know if it will be in theaters, go straight to DVD, or neither?

According to the Goal II: Living the dream page on half.com, the release date was supposed to be September 28th, 2007. That, obviously, didn't happen. I also saw (and I forget where) a late November release date. Now, according to the wiki Goal II: Living the dream page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goal!_2:_Living_the_Dream...), the US release date is December 21st, 2007. If you can't wait, you can buy the DVD right now. I bought one about a month ago on ebay from a seller in Panama. It is a region 1, region 4 DVD (region 1 being the US and Canada). I believe I paid in the region of $29 (including shipping) and I got it in about a week.
