Maybe my body is trying to tell me something, but I'm not going to be able to beat on the drum tomorrow night. I'm still having trouble with my back and both shoulders from last Thursday. I've never had this kind of trouble this long after a game. I'm going to need to sit tomorrow night. :(
Maybe again next season, but I'm done for this year. :(

Never said I wouldn't bring it. :)
And I do it all the time because, usually, I'm the only one that wants to do it.

I'd actually rather not have a drum. I think it drowns out the songs because we dont have enough people. if there were more people i think drums would be fine. I really don't see the point to it, ive heard its to keep everyone on rythm but sometimes it does the exact opposite. I dont have a big problem with it, just sometimes i prefer to not have it. but atleast its better then those annoying plastic horns.

The Drum is the only thing that can be heard far away right now in a stadium as big as Arrowhead. It's necessity. We do need more variation in our chants. Rhythmic clapping stuff. Better, more creative call and response. On a lot of those types of chants we would only use the drum when the chorus picks back up to build strength.
Words or sounds that are multilingual will be good too. Things like vowels, KC Wiz, etc. We just need some creativity and effort. We've got the numbers to start doing some better stuff, especially when we get in a smaller venue.
