Simple questions ladies and Gentleman:)

Why do you support the glorious reds?

What got you started??

Was it because of:

*family (Irish/British emigrants)??
-You are a British immigrant perhaps?
*You watched them on TV or United were your subbuteo (or my generation playstation etc) team??
*met a legend perhaps like Bestie/Charlton??
*Went to watch them when you were a wee tiddler??

Any other reasons (Strange or Normal) would be fine.

*Went to watch them when you were a wee tiddler?? No.

I'm a fan because they won the league in the 2006/07 season.

I just hope they win the league again this season. I'd hate to have to re-paint my bedroom. The red, gold and black looks so cool.

Because Vermont Red told me so.

In all seriousness, because of those two legends known as the Busby Babes.

I love Manchester because I hate their biggest rival in the world -- Chelsea.

I'd love to see both Busby Babes.

But didn't both of them die in Munich:confused: given the glory-hunter that I am, I hardly know any of the players before 1999.

Eh, my ignorance. I think I will have to wait till DS writes a 2-page long article about the two legends that are the Busby Babes.

I have loved United ever since VermontRed told me about them during our camping trip up on the mountain. He taught me many things during that trip.

When i was first starting to follow football, one of my friend's father traveled to Manchester about once a month for business. His counterpart in Manchester was a lifelong United supporter and season ticketholder, so because of this guy he would bring back United stuff for his kids when he returned to the states. It rubbed off on them, and eventually rubbed off on me.

My Dad had been going to OT since the early 60's. I was brought up to support them.
