I dont know if you all have seen/heard it yet, but a fan ran onto the pitch and hit Dida in the Celtic/AC game.

It'd help if you didn't have to be a member of the rangers media thing to see the article.

There is no way on earth that Celtic should be punished for that. I assume that the fan will be delt with and put in jail, but its not like a mob of Celtic supporters ran out and curb stomped Dida. He obviously faked an injury so that the team would be punished, but I don't think they should.
If we look at the Denmark vs Sweden game where a fan ran out and made contact with an official, and I'm assuming the same weight is given to players, SOME punishment will be issued. This wasn't malicious though.
If anything, a minor fine just to be fair so the other clubs and federations don't bitch.
Dida is quite the actor though! You have to love football, where else do you see these types of theatrics?
The guy starting this thread is obviously a Rangers supporter, and we all know how they love Celtic! LOL

The footage is quite decieving. At first glance I thought it was a tap on Dida's shoulder. If you look very closely however you can clearly see it is the ancient 'triple point shoulder death blow' practised by many glaswegian monks. The classic tell is the 5 second delay before the muscles seize up, and the victim feels the full effect and falls to the ground.

first of all bazzarm, your one annoying fud with your linking to that crap site.
secondly he didnt hit dida, he tapped him across the collar bone and then dida collapsed 5 seconds later as if punched by Tyson, was stretchered off with an ice pack on his face, Dida is a disgrace and a joke.
the fan should not have been on the pitch but doesnt take away from the way Dida acted.
Celtic should be fined for the fan invading the pitch, and thats all (anything more then all British clubs should pull out of the champions league)
Dida should be banned from the rest of the games in this competition.

Do I have to get that explanation as a non Glaswegian? Simply don't understand it...
If you should be right, can you please tell me why Dida got the ice pack above his eye?
It could have been such a great night for all Celtic fans ... but a (drunk) moron and obviously an acting goalie managed to destroy the joy & good mood!
It's the first time that I have to experience an incident with Celtic supporters...
Does anyone have full footage of the event, I didn't see the stretcher part with the ice pack! LOL

Errr...because the deadly move is designed to attack the eyebrow hair roots.

The mood is still good, this really shouldn't be blow our of proportion. It was just a drunk guy running on the field being a happy drunk. I don't think there was any malicious intent. Fine to Celtic and laugh it off.

I don't care about Milan.
What Dida did last night was a disgrace to football, it was so obvious he was trying to get the game abandoned.

It's most unfortunate that fan didn't have a sword in his hand then we would have had a wonderful ending.
