I respect Olympiakos. But nevertheless: 5-1.

People in Greece pretty much expect the same thing.

Olympiakos was trapped in their own box for almost every minute of the second half, being outplayed by Aris[though without sufficient end product].That was this weekend, and Olympiakos coach Takis Lemonis said "the grass wasn't in the right shape to play attacking football", making him a laughing stock for this weeks newspapers.

The somewhat 'official' newspaper of the Club said "You can't play attacking football in your own half" on their front page, criticism, that happens once every 7~8 months.

People in europe able to tune in to hotbird channels have been able to watch the match on ERTWorld, was pretty interesting, as Aris plays a quite enjoyable footie, though they tend to flop in front of the box.

The Weser stadion is a fortress for Bremen. So I'm expecting a win.

But nevertheless I know Olympiakos are a good team and they might cause an upset.

Hoping to see Frings play from the beginning. Borowski may also be in as a reservist.

Bouba still no certanity if he will play. Rosenberg and Hugo will do anyway. :)

Sanogo, Frings and Borowski are nominated for the game tomorrow! But Wiese is out due to his injury.

Best of luck in this game, a win here would put you guys right back on track.

I doubt it'll be a goal fest but you should be able to win, this is, on paper, the easiest fixture in the group.

Personally I'm hoping for a goal-fest. Aside from "securing" our return leg with a good goal difference, it will also mean a lot of good publicity for Bremen, thus more TV time, better name recognition...

It can only help us, much like the 5-1 we had against Anderlecht, or the match against Athens. The CL highlight reels showed more of Bremen than they did of Barca. :)

according to uefa.com:

32 Hugo Almeida (Bremen) scores! Bremen lead as Hugo Almeida finds the net for the sixth time this season - the Portuguese player getting on the end of Daniel Jensen's cross from the left-side of the penalty area to convert from close range after the ball had eluded the Olympiacos defence.

it was a good ball from tosic to jensen that lead to the goal by almeida.

Boro for Fritz....good idea, Fritz has got to be out of shape, now lets see if Boro can help the attack

again my lack of respect for Vander reigns supreme, he drops his second rebound for a goal....the first one was ruled offsides, not this time...
