yes it is still do-able. i can see werder just scraping through, but i would like to see good consistent performances from the team in the bundesliga first to be sure of it.

I think Olympiakos played excellently, I thought their fans were exceptional as well. Fair play to them, I think they deserved to win.
Sure, they deserved the win, but the opponent can only play as good as you
let him play and in the 2nd half there Werder did absolute nothing
to prevent them from playing, without running and doing tacklings
it´s impossible to win a match in the CL.
The 8-1 in the last match was poisson for some of the players,
because you could see, that they weren´t concentrated,
they invited Olympiakos every minute with horrible bad passes
to counter.
Ok the pitch conditions weren´t easy, because of the water,
but it was a home game, so why the f*** did the Greeks better adopt
to these conditions.

Glad to hear, that you are optimistic, but i don´t see a chance
in the group. In the CL group stage you simply may not loose
home matches, that´s the system.
And Lazios tactic is similar to Olympikos, such teams are not easy to play for Werder.

well i think anything can happen. it all depends, but werder now have frings and borowski back which helps, although today it didn't do much. i agree with what some others have said here about this game being too early for frings as he only just came back to team training a few days ago. but i think with more games they play with the injured players back, hopefully the team chemistry will improve and who knows, bremen might bag some crucial points in the group. i mean, if any other team can get points away from home, why can't werder do the same? i know they will be against a team like lazio and olympiacos, but werder could surprise just like olympiacos did.
and to give more hope, the same thing happened two seasons ago and werder eventually managed to qualify for the next round.
but that's it i guess, it's all up to the team, i'm not so certain about anything, but i'd like to think it's not over just yet...

I think Diego hits the nail right on the head here.

mhmm.
they should know that a game goes for 90 minutes.

Werder became arrogant in the second half and lost embarrassingly but deserved. I hope they get now their asses up and blow Duisburg out of the stadium!

True. I thought they stopped playing after 60. It reminded me of BVB.
They get tired of fighting a team that fights them back and eventually submits.
That is what I thought I saw the other night in Bremen.
