Great team, In the previous friendlies i've seen of Peru, I noticed that Solano is good for 1 half, then they usually take him out. I think that Rivaldo guy would be a great sub, since Vargas (I'm hoping a perm mid-fielder) can play a full 90+.

I'm pretty exicted for this game, a bit more then Brasil's game!

I think Peru's only down is that much needed defendor Rodriguez, and Pizzaro should be benched in the 2nd half, replaced with Vigil, although I would've much rather see Malingas.

Asi es. Aparte del sub-14 Chiroque, tarjetita Garcia y el abuelo Jayo es una buena lista.

Cruzado had to come back. Chemo realized how thin we were at central mid with an injured Rayner and made the right call-up.

I think the Arakaki call-up was done with more caution than anything. Mudo will be a game-time decision and if he's out, then Arakaki will be Vilchez's backup.

No llamo a nadie para ser backup de Hidalgo en la banda. Eso me preocupa. Martin a veces se pierde feo y Chemo derrepente ahi necesitaria cambiarlo y meter un lateral mas dinamico. Loquito puede cubrir esa posicion, pero el ya esta bien situado en la volante.

Tambien eso de llamar 3 arqueros es por las puras, IMO. Se desperdicia un jugador posicional. Ahi pudo estar el backup de Hidalgo o hasta otro volante central.

I think if we put "huevos" against Paraguay we can win the game but we need to play tough otherwise we wont have a chance.
Im not for sure about el "Mudo" Rodriguez I think he is too "soft" for a fullback I hope Im wrong. Another option is Oso Villalta but he's injured.
I think Diego Penny should be the golie, "cholo" Prado sucks, and we dont have any other right defender, we can put Arakaki for Prado and Acasiete with Rodriguez in the center and Martin Hidalgo (kind of slow but good player).
Vargas (a must) Jayo (I like Juanca Bazalar better), Solano and Foquita in the midfield and two strikers Guerrero and Pizarro.
We have some of the best South Americans players here so we must win. I hope Chemo has a good game plan...
PD: Juan Carlos Mariño TRAITOR!! dont want to play because he doesnt like to play one minute... what a lame excuse la patria es primero papi, I hope they never call you again! even if you dont play you are part of the team, what part of the word TEAM you dont undersand? traitor! no creo que esta seria una buena idea porque el Chemo a trabajado con la gente que a convocado, y se a dado quenta como utilizarlos, si llama a otra gente como zabarbulo, uribe etc seria practicamente cambiar el chemistry del equipo que esta trantando de formar, este processo le va a tomar tiempo... pero los jugadores claves estan ahi.

He is nothing to cry about, but he could've been a nice alternative coming off the bench when we want to hold the ball, be more creative, keep posession, look for fouls.

Plus, he's better than Garcia and Chiroque.................combined :p

He's only played around 20-30 minutes for the NT tops. I've seen him play in Argentina, he's a good player IMO. Vigil runs fast, but doesn't execute well.

I think Farfan would be in better use if he was put in as a Striker rather then playing back. Pizarro should be put back, he's useless back there but useless up front as well.

and i agree with Penny starting as goalie, he deserves it with his club being #1 in the Peruvian League.

Comparing players amongst other teams... Peru should defenitely do WELL.

Would anyone happend to have the line ups (starters) of Peru from the last qualifiers?

I would call up guevara or even lobaton over pato
alvarez as a CB over arakaki, i dont recall seeing alvarez play bad games as CB
willy rivas or mayme or even huertas over prado IMO

i would leave back ismodes or garcia and bring in Molina from la U, a good combination of MArking and attacking,

and thinkign it out well, gonzales anticipation, marking, and fighting for every ball should be there instead of jayo
