Convey started. Not sure about Stewart.

So, after the match ...

Convey starts at left back. He is looking pretty decent pushing up and working with Lewis, but the US is under no pressure at all.

Everyone was sleep walking. World class goal on a terrific service from Ralston.

Convey with a terrible give away on D that almost led to a Martinique goal. Made a few runs and was cut down pretty hard. Not his best game.

Earnie came on at half and did nothing but neither did anyone else in the second half.

Convey played like crap. However, everyone was better than Landon Donovan tonight. No way he should get a start in the quarters. He's done NOTHING for the Nats of late.

that was some god awful bad football. the US really stunk the joint up. all players were different variations of crap. neither earnie nor bobby distinguished themselves from the rest of the pile of crap.

Most guys are lucky to still be walking, those boys from Martinique can't play football but damn they can tackle from behind like champs. the ref needed to toss guys earlier than he did. It has been a long time since the US played the poorly.

Hard for the US to play well when the other team is only playing to lose by 2 goals or less and is hacking us every time we beat them off the dribble. 10 men behind the ball when losing 2-0 does not lead to a good game. If Landon buries the wide open header at the start of the second half, then they at least had to try to score.

That game was boring in a way I have rarely seen a game be boring. I had trouble focusing by the end.

Ugh. A friend of mine who I've tried to interest in soccer (club and country) was completely turned off by the game last night. Just ugly, and he just stopped watching because nothing was happening.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no decent football for country until 2006. If you want your friend to get into the game, don't show him any more of this tournament...strictly United from here on out (I can't believe I'm saying that).
