Belenenses is going to have a lot of confidence, and they need to win, so they are obviously gonna attack this time. That should make it a lot easier for us and open them up for counterattacks. I predict a 3-1 victory.

I certainly hope you are right. I do predict Bayern going through, but cannot be as confident as you that it will be that easy.

I see this being a one goal game or a draw, personally.

Bingo.

a lot of times it just sets you up for disappointment. especially listening to some of these guys the past couple years saying 3 or 4-1 victories for us then we tie 0-0 or lose 1-0, its like WOW... that sort of sucks for them getting their hopes up high LOL :p

I'm scared of this match, if we're in bad shape, we could actually lose. I think we'll win, but I'm not so sure it'll be real easy!

It definetley won't be easy, no Portugese team is easy to beat at home and Belenenses is no different. They'll come out all guns blazing and they might even score first. It'll be a very tight game.

well then was the game vs. leverkusen a good test, but we must improve our counter attacks. i'm just wondering if we should adopt our whole offense to it, cause Klose seems not ready to play. but it will be a too important game to start experiments like podolski and schlaudraff as our strikers.

----- Rensing -------------

Lell ------ Lucio ---- Demi ----- Jansen

----van Bommel------ Ze-----------

Hamit -------------Ribery

----Poldi---------Schlaudraff----

it wont happen, i know.

Klose out of Belenenses clash

I wouldnt bet on this, cause we now Hitzfeld. by the way bayern-homepage quotes him, that they will try everything that Klose will be able to play.

maybe during the group stage if we advance we could mess around with something like this.

Klose out of Belenenses clash

Kahn and Klose out. The protector and the scorer.

The news just gets worse and worse.

HOpe the lads are up for it. Pessimism is setting in.

Kahn and Klose are two of our most important players, no doubt BUT if we want to win the UEFA Cup we shouldn't depend on them to beat Belenenses whatsoever. No offense to them but even without Klose and Kahn, we shouldn't lose.

Looks like Klose will miss this match and at least 3 weeks off.

Van Bommel and Schweini are also doubtful. Kroos will make the trip.

Seems schweini is doubtful for the game. van Bommel will be back in team training tomorrow after problems with his little toe.

Kross and Wagner will go to protugal with the team.

Hitzfeld is quotet that he wont hesitate to let Kross start the game.
