Rangers News:
According to QPR World, Mancienne (back) is a doubt, Nardiello (hamstring) and Nygaard (calf) are in a race against time, while Bolder (shin) is hopeful. No mention of Ainsworth, so he seems to be fit and ready to go. Sahar returns after missing on Saturday for religious reasons. Leigertwood is suspended.
The Opponent:
In the league, West Brom is 3-0-0 at home with an 8-0 goal difference, so it's going to be a tough one. In the league at home, they've beaten Ipswich (4-0), Barnsley (2-0), and Preston (2-0).
They did lose at home to Cardiff in the League Cup midweek (2-4), but that was after making many changes from their usual team.
Away from home, they've beaten Scunthorpe, drew with Bristol City, and lost to Sheff United and Burnley.
According to the BBC, "Leon Barnett is set to return at the heart of the West Brom defence and boss Tony Mowbray hopes left-back Paul Robinson recovers from an ankle knock. But fellow defenders Neil Clement and Bostjan Cesar are still sidelined."
The Series:
The overall series is very tight -- QPR has 12 wins, WBA has 13 wins, and they've drawn 7. Last season, we lost 1-2 at home and drew 3-3 away. The last meetings before that were in 2000/01, including my first ever live QPR game, a 2-0 win for the R's with goals by Chris Plummer and Sammy Koejoe.
