Many Argentinian players are seeking to play in Israel, eventhough we have violence, terrorism and crisis on our hands.
Many have already tried up for teams like Kfar Saba, Beitar Jerusalem and Netanya, Ashdod...and are top level players who see the issues in Argentina as corrupt and horrible. Many get the same or maybe even more when playing in Israel than in there home country..but it roughly the same..
Even some players have reported not being paid for 2-3 months and when they do they don't get anything.
Many jewish Argentina athletes want to take advantage in this. Already Guileremo Israelivich signed up to Maccabi Haifa. He played in Union Santa Fe and he is a terrific player. he can even play for Israel U-21 team perhaps :)
Good luck to him!

Are there many or even any non jewish players in the league?
Would they be taken in if they wanted to play?

Israel never got a good south american players.
Because they never could do a good scouting job there.
I hope it will change now.

Actually..
Beitar send some scouts to Brazil and Argentina to come see some players and they were intrested in some...
Many of these potential players can be the next ROSSO or Nimny if you actually think about it!

Remember,
Just watch Israelivich and you'll understand..
plus, we wouldn't go for 3 weeks to South America for nothing...
this was a good choice we did!

True, but there is a problem in Argentina right now. People are not being paid. And finally there paying the price for not being much more than a South American team.
Argentina is just like Israel. They would never be called to Europe to play in the big leauge unless there a superpower. Sure, they have alot of players, but looking at the NT, thats all they got.... not more and not less...just the same number as we do. They are an isolated leauge and no one hears about them. Yet, you don't see European players going to play in Argentina and you don't see Argentinian players on a mass scale playing in Europe.
Theres players who want to go, no matter if there jewish or not. They want to leave, for the extra 30,000 US a year or somehting. And they don't care if it is Israel. Many did that and are thinking of going to israel!

European players don't play in Argentina because there is no money there.
How can you compare Israel to Argentina?
Did you ever seen an Argentinia league game?

I saw a couple of Boca Games when they playing Racing, River and that small team that made it big..i forgot its name...
But the point is, that if you have an argentian player who is good..Who is fit...Who is well and who wants to play in israel, then let him play
he makes his 160,000$ and he proves himself
many jewish athletes in Argentina are looking into that.
By no means, im suggesting that we are the same....
