Not angry. Just kind of a damp squib of a day. Grey cold weather, couldn't get my only patient in clinic consented though I showed up a half hour early just in case, got assigned bitchwork in the office because the actual office bitch is out for the day and I'm next in line, and now the loss.

I work in a hospital/medical school. I'm taking the next 2 years working on a research study, getting paid and enjoying not being a student, then maybe med school or business school. Every Wednesday the potential participants for my trial come in, so I call them Tuesday nights to gauge interest. One family was down, but then didn't show today - so no consent for me.

This happens alot, as I work with the poor African American community here (it's a sickle cell disease study) and they have alot of compliance issues.
