Hopefully winning the Emmy for Best Comedy Series will attract some more viewers. A greatly deserved victory for a show I had high hopes for during the first season but started the gate with a couple of clunker episodes when it first premiered. It gained momentum and became a show with multiple laugh-out-loud moments every episode, outrageous plots and intricate in-jokes for people who have seen prior episodes. In fact it became
Anyone who watches The Office but not 30 Rock should be shot.
The season premiere is coming up and Jerry Seinfeld will be guesting on it. Will Arnett is coming back later in the season as well as the Beeper King of NYC.

This was one of those shows that I meant to watch last year but never got around to. Bravo showed six episodes on Sunday and I watched them all ... man, it was good TV.
I already have the Tivo set to get the new ones.
The thing I liked about it -- it didn't seem like a new show. all the actors were very comfortable. For example, the early episodes of Friends it was very obvious they were reading their lines and trying to act (if that makes any sense) ... these guys seemed very natural. That new show with Kelsey Grammar -- Back to You -- was the same as friends. It was like watching high school theatre. But 30 rock, those guys found their groove early.
and tracy morgan -- HATED him on SNL but he was awesome on this show. he was actually one of the reasons i didn't watch it last year. but he was hilarious. Alec was perfect for his role, too.
good times. can't wait for the new season. sorry for the long-winded rant that probably didn't make any sense. ;)

Either I wasn't in the mood for that episode, or that was the least funny episode since it's start.

Yeah that wasn't funny. Very disappointing.

i'm not sure if it was their worst... it definitely wasn't their best. either way, best line was when jack was going through the titles of the shows that would have digital seinfeld on them and said 'biggest loser' right when lemon was describing her summer ... or she was talking about something like that, i can't remember exactly. it fit perfectly though whatever she was saying.
i also liked it when jerry said he liked 'lost.' i guess it's kind of a cheap laugh, but i've always gotten a kick out it when shows rip on their own network.

I thought it was better than the Office frankly. The best part was when Alec's character listed some of his summer shows. "America's next Pirate", "Stronger than a Dog" and "MILF Island" HA!!

The positives (every scene with Jack, the "MILF Island" trailer, Sheila gaining weight) outweighed the negatives (every scene with Kenneth or Tracy).
Did anyone else wonder when Seinfeld made his first appearance in the elevator if it was really him or SeinfeldVision?
