This is a game where it should be a goal fest, not just a win. :p Cottbus is 2nd last in the table, we better be able to open a lot of holes in their net! If we play like today, where we actually take our CHANCES, I predict/hope for a 6-0 or 7-0! (carried away a bit, but I can hope right?)

Indeed. The fact that all the top 'contenders' in the B1 all got resounding wins last weekend will only apply more pressure, but I think the lads are up for it. Ottmar got ample rest for players last match, and with Klose and Toni back in the lineup, I am feeling very good about this match. They are the key.
Schweini I predict will start this one, as he sat most of the last one. I am getting the impression with some posters around here that Piggy is to them at Bayern, what Rex Grossman is to us with the Chicago Bears. Enough said.
Hope to see some of Kroos perhaps. Definitely Schlaudraff... he looks VERY promising.

hopefully kroos is on the bench....and comes in!

Why should Altintop be thrown on the bench again when he did well?
Cottbus have sacked their coach Petrik Sander after the 1-2 loss to Wolfsburg. Really a shame they lost the match, to me they were clearly the better team. Wolfsburg just freaking effective in front of goal in that match.

Fingers, I think we should win our next 6 games with the team we have for sure. We are not really playing any of the big ones until then.

Yea, this should be business as usual, 3 easy points.
I think we'll see the same line up as today except Schweiny starting for Altintop and Ze Roberto starting instead of Ottl. I really don't mind who starts in games like this as we should be able to beat them with any line up.

the management in Cottbus deserves a high loss, hopefully we fulfill their need

I'd like to see Klose and Podolski start together. Give Toni a rest and see what happens when you start the strike team that scored 8 goals in 7 games at the World Cup. Even if Poldi is weak compared to Luca, I doubt we can be kept from winning by a decent margin. Klose and Ribery are the key.

My post didn't mention who 'deserved' to start there... nor was it an implication that we renew this year's "horse beating" topic of Ailtontop v. Schweini...... my point was 'don't be suprised if you do see Piggy starting' in light of (a) Ottmar's love of rotating players to get time, and (b) especially since Schweini didn't play much at all, not to mention (c) we play on short rest after a two match week.
Shame Cottbus sacked the coach. Looks like Jose Mourinho may have a job. LOL!

This one is pretty easy. Even Chelsea lost when they lost Mourinho.
The yesterday game was impressive though, but it was merely because KSC out of nowhere played attacking football too. If however they put all their soldiers behind the ball, we might see another poor display from FCB.
And I thionk there will not be Kroos yet, maynot be in the bench as well. Schauldraf for sure will be there.

we should win easy. i'm happy to have won KSC but also to haven't new injured players. i would like podolski scores (if he plays).

With 3 games in 7 days, I am glad we are not meeting some of the better clubs at the moment. It will be interesting to see who OH rotates in and out.

I think we will se Schweini and Altintop getting alternatiting starts. IE Schweini will start on wednesday, and Altintop will start on saturday.
The thing I'm worried about is Toni and Ribery. I would like to see one or both of them get a rest for the match on wednesday. Maybe we can have a line-up like this:
-----------Kahn-----------------
Lell---Lucio---Demichelis---Jansen
---v.Bommel---ze Roberto
--Schweini---------Schlaudraff---
----------------Poldi------------
-------Klose---------------------

LOL! Well said...
You hit the nail on the head, mate, when talking about a purely defensive game... Bayern have typically struggled against purely defensive teams. As any team would naturally...
I am anticipating Schlaudraff to get time. Kroos no.. just wishful thinking on my part.

Give Toni a rest
No f*cking way. Toni is our best weapon against such a bunker defense. When Poldi came on against Karlsruhe it was like a 4-5-1 again with Klose alone up top.
This is the lineup according to Kicker:
Kahn - Hamit Altintop, Lucio, van Buyten, Jansen - Ribery, van Bommel, Zé Roberto, Schweinsteiger - Klose, Toni

Nice line up. It's going to be interesting seeing Hamit as RB, he'll give Cottbus hell all game long. I hope Schlaudraff gets at least 30 minutes this time.

Ok, Ribery seriously needs some rest. I hope he goes out for 2nd half and Schlaudraff comes in. Hopefully, we'll be up by a large margin in the first half so Hitzi is not afraid to put Shlaudraff diractly for the 2nd half and HOPEFULLY Kroos for at least 20 minutes.
