Benny's Been There Before
Benny Feilhaber may not have been in English football for long, but he's in a prime position to tell his teammates about the Emirates stadium.
The US international played there against Arsenal last season - in the Champions League, while wearing the colours of German side SV Hamburg.

10am FSC Derby at Arsenal. The hottest team in England takes on the struggling newcomers. Will Benny Feilhaber start? If he does it will be interesting to see how he fares against Cesc Fabregas.

Billy Davies, the Derby manager, is expected to stick with the same side that secured the club's opening Premier League victory over Newcastle United on Monday. Kenny Miller, who scored a spectacular winner, will lead the line again having suffered no recurrence of the hamstring strain which delayed his debut.
Veteran defender Darren Moore is back in training after a knee injury and teenage midfielder Giles Barnes has recovered from a broken foot but will not be considered until next weekend at the earliest.
....
Derby (provisional): Bywater, Mears, Leacock, Davis, Griffin, Teale, Oakley, Pearson, Lewis, Howard, Miller, McEveley, Jones, Earnshaw, Todd, Feilhaber.

If Arsenal is on, they will crush Derby.
If they (at least 1/2 the time), sleep walk thru the first 65 minutes or so...and then get serious, Derby has a chance.
I think its basically irrelevant what Derby does tactically, either scenario 1 or 2 is going happens (no one dominates Arsenal at home...they are always in the game).
Personally, I think there is a real home for a guy like Feilhaber on a Derby. They are a team full of hustle and bustle, but that rarely can sustain winning performance over time. You need quality and composure to. I think Benny brings that.
If I am Derby, I am praying for scenario 2, and praying that I take my chances well...there won't be a lot of chances for Derby in this game, so they really need a Miller-like strike or amazing accuracy in front of goal

Im hoping Benny can get in and create some good chances...
this is gonna end up being 5 or 6 nothing to the Gunners

Doubt it. Maybe 3-0, but I doubt 6 will be hung on them again.

Really depends on Arsenal's mood.
Many games, they create enough chances to get 6, but they rarely come close.
3 is more realistic, especially against a bottom-scraper.
Arsenal- more than any club I can think of- just kills you the last 20-25 minutes. They'll push 1 or 2 guys up from the back, and they totally exploit the fact that the opponent has killed themselves trying to shut them down at that point...the opponent just gets punished. Gaps open, and the goals come. Almost like clockwork.
People criticise Arsenal, but keeping ball possession really does tire out the other team. Arsenal 'issue' is that they need to mix it up more often. Its fine to be cute passing at top of box sometimes, but you need to let 'er rip other times just to keep your opponents honest, and your mind fresh.
I honestly see the best scenario as something like the Arsenal-Fulham game (a) lucky/fluke goal early (b) stifle them with running/bustle (c) take the punch in the gut later in the game, and hope they only score 1 goal and (d) hope your goalie plays out of his mind, since he will be tested.
oh yeah (e) maybe rests some starters and (f) Eddie Lewis curls one in on a freekick.
My prediction: 4-1 to Arsenal

How good was it to make your first team debut against Newcastle?
It was great for me and the team won and collected three points. Hopefully, it was a stepping stone to getting more time on the pitch and to playing a bigger role in the team.
The game was by no means over when I came on. I knew I was going to have a tough 10 to 15 minutes of working hard defensively. The gaffer told me what he wanted me to do and I did my best. When we did get the ball, I wanted to keep it the best I could. That is part of my natural game.
Is your next aim to get a first start?
I'm guessing it will be tough for me to get a start against Arsenal because all the guys who started against Newcastle earned their places for Arsenal but I am looking to get more time and trying to help the team as best I can.
Obviously, the ultimate goal is to become a regular starter.

Also don't forget that the players we really want denied goals are Adebayor and Fabregas -- both on three goals at the moment like Dempsey and two of his prime competitors for the season's Golden Boot award. (I'd insert one of those cheshire-smiley things here... but I'm starting to wonder just how farfetched that really is!)

If Benny can extrapolate his legendary ten seconds v. Newcastle over the entire 90 minute game, then Arsenal doesn't have a chance.

Feilhaber is in it. I'd say we're looking at the exact same starting eleven as Monday, but hopefully Benny will come on earlier than last week. Maybe we'll see him for Pearson or somebody like that if they are down early in the second half and need to score.

Look at the link again and you'll see the problem ...
You listed the 19-man (global) squad. If you look to the vertical list on the right, you'll see the 16-man 'confirmed squad,' which lists Feilhaber at the very end. No idea why he wouldn't be on both lists.

Just to update, Adebayor scored in the 26th to make it 2-0, and it's now in the 29th.
