I will be flying in next week for the second week of Oktoberfest...picked the wrong week to choose to attend, would have liked to have seen Bayern at home. I guess I will have to watch the second leg of the UEFA Cup with some Bayern supporters, any suggestions on where to watch in the city center?

Just take the S-Bahn. Its much cheaper. I think its either the S-2 or S-8 that goes from the Airport to Hauptbahnhof.

S1 and S8. Depending on where you want to go in Munich, East side or West side. Takes about 35 minutes.

Wife and I did the German restaurant last night... celebrated our own Octoberfest with a fishbowl of Pauleiner Hefe Weissen. Another local establishment I found out is doing a range of great beers now including some from the Ayinger Brewery in Germany... I had the Celebrator Doppelbock... wow! great bevie with 6.7% alc.

ZDF-reporter: "What are your plans for tomorrow 2 PM?"
R.Völler: "I will watch surely the WWC final against Brazil."
(with a smile in the face, because ZDF broadcasts women WC)
U.Hoeness: "Sadly, i have no time. We go that afternoon to the Oktoberfest."
